ROANOKE, Va. (AP) - A contractor that provides security at the Radford Army Ammunition Plant is being sued by an employee who alleges co-workers racially harassed him.

John McKinney’s lawsuit seeks an injunction against G4S Government Solutions, Inc.

The lawsuit alleges that white co-workers used a noose and a white sheet to intimidate McKinney, who is African-American.

McKinney’s lawyer, Terry Grimes, tells The Roanoke Times (https://bit.ly/1gJdpBE ) that the 35-year-old Christiansburg resident remains on the job. G4S declined to comment to the newspaper.

The lawsuit was filed March 11 in U.S. District Court in Roanoke. It seeks unspecified damages.
