DENVER (AP) - Police have re-arrested an 18-year-old man who was mistakenly released from the Downtown Denver Detention Center.

The Denver Post reports (https://bit.ly/1fYa4CQ ) Sebastian Littlejohn was taken into custody, again, Tuesday on the original charges of felony aggravated robbery. He was released from the jail Monday.

Denver Sheriff Gary Wilson says the accidental release stemmed from a court order filed Monday that was not accurate. It’s unclear if the order was falsified or was mistakenly filled out, and the sheriff says “there is more work to be done to find out exactly how that (mistake) happened.”

Littlejohn has an extensive violent criminal history, including arrests for kidnapping, sexual assault, armed robbery and armed menacing.
