HONOLULU (AP) - Board of Water Supply officials say crews have completed repairs to a damaged Honolulu waterline that developed a leak.

Officials say work was completed at about 5 a.m. Tuesday on the waterline, which was damaged by a contractor on Waialae Avenue near the Wilhelmina Rise intersection.

The damage to the line led to the closure of two Diamond Head lanes near Liliuokalani Elementary School. Officials say lanes have been reopened.

The leak was reported shortly after midnight.
