TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) - Authorities in Tucson are searching for a man who brought his Chihuahua with him to rob a bank.

Tucson police say a man approached a Chase Bank teller in a grocery store about 10 a.m. Friday.

He placed a shopping basket containing a white Chihuahua puppy on the counter.

Police say the man demanded money from two bank tellers and received an undisclosed amount of cash before fleeing with his dog.

They say the robber didn’t display a weapon and nobody was injured.

Police have a bank surveillance photo of the man and the dog. But as of Monday, no arrest had been made in the case.
