DE SOTO, Mo. (AP) - A 43-year-old De Soto man has been charged with burglary and deviate sexual assault for reportedly breaking into a woman’s Jefferson County house and trying to have sex with her.
Police say Kevin Recar was found about 1 a.m. Saturday in downtown De Soto, two hours after a 36-year-old woman reported the attack. The woman told police that Recar ran away when she screamed at him to leave her house
The St. Louis Post-Dispatch (bit.ly/1nB5j7a ) reports that the woman knew Recar and told police his name. His bond was set at $50,000.
