CORBIN, Ky. (AP) - A weekend of storytelling is planned at Cumberland Falls State Resort Park near Corbin next month.
The Cumberland Falls Storytelling Festival is set for April 11 through 13, featuring four nationally known storytellers.
The state Parks Department says they are author Sharon Kirk Clifton, humorist Buck P. Creacy, former Harlan County teacher Pam Holcomb and Appalachian storyteller Stephen Hollen.
There will be opportunities to tour the falls, hike the trails and see traditional and Kentucky-made crafts offered by vendors around the park’s DuPont Lodge.
The event costs $35 for the entire weekend with a couple of events an additional $5.
