CHEYENNE, Wyo. (AP) - The Wyoming Business Council has chosen five people to search for a new chief executive officer and appointed chief operating office Mark Willis as the interim CEO beginning March 31.
The search to replace CEO Bob Jensen will be nationwide. Jensen resigned to spend time with his wife, who has medical problems. He will also start a private business consulting company in Cheyenne.
The state of Wyoming created the Wyoming Business Council to focus public and private efforts to build a strong job creation base in the new economy, focused on manufacturing and technology.
The goal is also to help current business and industry groups with alternative energy, agriculture, manufacturing, high tech, transportation and logistics.
