TULSA, Okla. (AP) - A Tulsa police officer has been arrested on charges of possessing a firearm in a commission of a felony and conspiracy to traffic cocaine.

In addition, the Tulsa Police Department says in a news release that officer Tyrone Jenkins was also arrested on a complaint of violating the Computer Crimes Act.

Tulsa police say the department launched an investigation into the 40-year-old Jenkins after receiving information he may have been involved with criminal activity.



It’s not clear if Jenkins has a lawyer.
