MOOSE, Wyo. (AP) - Spring plowing is scheduled to begin next week along the Teton Park Road in Grand Teton National Park.
Plowing will occur next Monday between the Taggart Lake parking area and Signal Mountain Lodge. Plowing will close the road to cross-country skiing and other winter activities.
Park officials expect to open the road to hiking, bicycling and roller-blading in mid-April. The road is set to open to vehicle traffic May 1.
Park officials say skiing and snowshoeing will continue to be allowed elsewhere in the park as long as conditions allow.
