Permanent public restrooms coming to Myrtle Beach

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (AP) - Myrtle Beach will be a bit more family friendly this summer.

The Sun News of Myrtle Beach reports (https://bit.ly/1cQ3mz5 ) that by mid-June, there will be new permanent public restrooms just off the boardwalk. The new restrooms will replace existing portable restrooms in waterfront Plyler Park near the oceanfront SkyWheel.

David Sebok with the Myrtle Beach Downtown Redevelopment Corp. says the permanent restrooms will make the area nicer for families and provide visitors the level of services they expect when visiting the beach.

Myrtle Beach and the Grand Strand are the heart of the state’s $18 billion tourism economy.
