ALBANY, N.Y. (AP) - A Brooklyn-based company is recalling coconut candy strips made in Vietnam because they contain undeclared sulfites, which could cause allergic reactions in people sensitive to sulfites.

The “Mut Dua Non” Young Coconut Candy comes in an uncoded 10.6 ounce plastic container.

Hong Lee Trading recalled the product after sulfites were found in routine sampling by state agricultural inspectors.

The company says no illnesses have been reported. Consumers should return the product to the place of purchase.
