RIVERTON, Wyo. (AP) - Northern Arapaho schools are losing their fifth leader in seven years.

Superintendent Chantell Denson announced Wednesday that she was leaving Fremont County District 38 after one year in the position. The Ranger (https://bit.ly/1iV3lwp) reports she initially accepted a contract for another school year but later decided not to sign it.

She said she has no other employment offers. She’ll remain on the job until the end of the school year on June 30.

Denson was the former assistant superintendent for the district and was named superintendent following the resignation of Jonathan Braack. He stepped down last February after just over a year in the job.
