Fire claims life in Darlington County

HARTSVILLE, S.C. (AP) - An early-morning fire has claimed the life of a Hartsville man.

Darlington County Coroner Todd Hardee has confirmed that a man died in the fire that happened about 2:45 a.m. Monday.

The man’s name has not been released.

An autopsy was planned on Tuesday.
