HEBRON, Conn. (AP) - A teacher who was struck by a sport utility vehicle outside her middle school in Hebron during the morning student drop-off remains in critical condition.

Math teacher Dawn Mallory remains at Hartford Hospital on Monday. WFSB-TV reports (https://bit.ly/1cETCrw ) that she’s still in critical condition.

Police say parent Elizabeth Everett was dropping off a child at RHAM Middle School on Friday morning when she drove into the wrong area and backed up into Mallory. Authorities are still investigating the accident and no charges have been filed.

RHAM school officials say they will be reviewing procedures for how parents drop off students. Some parents and students say there are too many cars and buses in the drop off area at the middle school in the mornings.
