TOOELE, Utah (AP) - A 10-year-old boy has been hospitalized after crashing during a weekend motocross event in Tooele County.

The boy was hurt after trying to ride his motorcycle off a jump Saturday at Miller Motorsports Park.

North Tooele County Fire Department spokesman Ryan Willden says the crash occurred around 7 p.m. Saturday.

A medical helicopter brought him to Primary Children’s Hospital.
