PHOENIX (AP) - Dozens of revelers are expected to don some green in downtown Phoenix for the city’s annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade.
The 31st Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade and Faire is scheduled to kick off at 10 a.m. Saturday.
This year’s theme is “Arizona Irish: Honor Our Heroes.” The festivities will include marching bands, Irish step dancers and several floats.
The route begins at 3rd and East Sheridan Streets, going south on 3rd Street and ending on East Moreland Street.
There will be collection sites at the Faire for a local food drive for St. Vincent de Paul.
The Phoenix St. Patrick’s Day Parade has been a city tradition since 1984.
