MEDIA, Pa. (AP) - A prosecutor in the Delaware County district attorney’s office has reached a milestone of 50 years on the job, and his colleagues say he handles twice the office’s typical caseload.

The Philadelphia Inquirer reported Saturday (https://bit.ly/NhxebD ) that Ned Nedurian’s impressive run was celebrated with a surprise party for the employee whose county-issued badge carries a start date of March 1964.

The 90-year-old Nedurian graduated from West Philadelphia High School before serving in World War II, where he was wounded in the Battle of the Bulge.

Nedurian, who now works on appeals, says he has no plans to retire.
