STILLWATER, Okla. (AP) - The Oklahoma State softball team has swept a double header against New Mexico.

The Cowgirls took Friday night’s game one 6-3, and won the second game by a score of 5-0.

In game one, the Cowgirls took an early lead in the first inning when Tarah Ettinger singled, scoring Shelby Davis from second. The next batter, Tiffany Mikkelson, doubled down the leftfield line, scoring Ettinger and putting OSU up 2-0.



OSU took a 4-0 lead in the bottom of the fourth when Shianne Hughes doubled to leftfield, scoring Mikkelson from third.

In the second game of the double header, the Cowgirls got on the board in the bottom of the third inning when Mikkelson scored when DeLaCruz smoked a ball up the middle, giving OSU a 1-0 lead.
