BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) - A North Dakota convicted felon who was pulled over by police faces several charges after an officer found three firearms in the car he was driving.
The Bismarck Tribune reports that 24-year-old Cody Gawryluk has been charged with two felonies and two misdemeanors following the traffic stop.
Police say Gawryluk was originally stopped for driving with a suspended license. An officer then found a 9-mm handgun hidden in a folded-down seat, a bag of fireworks and a rifle case with two .22 caliber rifles.
Court records don’t list an attorney for the Bismarck man.
The charges against Gawryluk are possession of stolen property, felon in possession of a firearm, carrying a concealed firearm and driving under suspension.
The newspaper reports Gawryluk on Monday had been charged with three other counts.
