FAIRFIELD, N.J. (AP) - Three people escaped serious injury when a hotel shuttle van and another vehicle collided on a northern New Jersey highway.
The crash occurred around 10:15 a.m. Saturday in Fairfield.
Authorities tell The Star-Ledger (https://bit.ly/1cK1ojG) that the van was merging onto Route 46 eastbound, near Fairfield Road, in an area where road crews had blocked off a portion of the right lane to repair potholes. After colliding with the car, the van overturned.
Both drivers and the lone passenger aboard the van were treated at a hospital for minor injuries. But their names and further details on their conditions were not disclosed.
No summonses have been issued, but the investigation into the crash is ongoing.
