GRAND FORKS, N.D. (AP) - The University of North Dakota is accepting applications for a scholarship in memory of a former student who was kidnapped and killed more than 10 years ago.

The Dru Sjodin (shuh-DEEN’) Memorial Scholarship is open to all students entering their sophomore, junior or senior years. It provides money for tuition and fees for a full year.

This scholarship was established through the UND Alumni Association Foundation. Last year’s recipient was Sonja Collin.



The application deadline is March 31.
