SPOKANE, Wash. (AP) - Two masked men who attempted to rob a Spokane hotel went away empty-handed early Friday when a clerk refused to cooperate.

Police say the men walked into Hotel Lusso about 1 a.m., indicated they had a gun and demanded money.

KXLY reports (https://bit.ly/1fFy4dX ) the clerk activated an alarm, and when one man saw that he walked out.



The second man demanded money again. The clerk said “no” and the man left the hotel.
