MOSES LAKE, Wash. (AP) - A standoff at a Moses Lake mobile home park ended early Friday when a SWAT team entered a home and found a 23-year-old man hiding in a clothes dryer.

The Grant County sheriff’s gang unit went to the home Thursday night to arrest Sergio Herrera Jiron because he had failed to appear in court to face drug charges. When he refused to come out or negotiate, the Moses Lake SWAT team fired flash bangs and gas canisters into the trailer.

Grant County sheriff’s spokesman Kyle Foreman tells iFIBER One News (https://bit.ly/1fXiqLO ) that after Jiron was found in the dryer, he still refused to come out and officers shot him with rubber bullets.
