GLENVIEW, Ill. (AP) - Three state lawmakers will host a discussion on environmental issues facing Illinois.
The discussion on Thursday will be led by Democratic Sen. Daniel Biss of Evanston and Reps. Laura Fine of Glenview and Robyn Gabel of Evanston.
The forum will begin at 7 p.m. at the Lakeview Room of the Glenview Park Center in Glenview.
The topics of conversation will include hydraulic fracturing for oil and natural gas, climate change, renewable energy and coal.
The legislators will be joined by representatives of the Illinois Environmental Council, the Sierra Club, the Center for Neighborhood Technology, the Environmental Law and Policy Center and the Natural Resources Defense Council.
