DELAWARE CITY, Del. (AP) - Delaware officials say a power outage caused a pollution release at the PBF Energy refinery near Delaware City.

The News Journal reports (https://delonline.us/1qzjCbA ) that Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control say the release happened sometime Thursday morning.

Officials say the release includes sulfur dioxide, a pollutant linked to acid rain, smog and toxic soot.
