STEAMBOAT SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) - Steamboat Ski and Resort will expand its night skiing from three to five nights each week next winter.
The resort began offering night skiing this winter.
Rob Perlman is senior vice president of sales and marketing for the ski resort.
Perlman tells Steamboat Pilot (https://bit.ly/1lBnOUx ) that the response to night skiing has been so positive that the resort will expand it next season to Thursdays through Mondays.
Night skiing is offered on 1,100 vertical feet of beginner, intermediate and advanced trails as well as a terrain park.
Perlman said there were no immediate plans to add more lights, but there is potential to expand night skiing to the north to include more beginner terrain.
