SPARTANBURG, S.C. (AP) - Safety is the focus of a conference taking place this week in Spartanburg.
The South Carolina National Safety Council is hosting the Workforce Protection Conference and Plant Safety Awards Ceremony. The three-day gathering is scheduled to start on Tuesday.
Organizers say the event offers specific training opportunities and will focus on quality, timeliness, applicability to daily work and convenience.
The conference wraps up with an awards ceremony.
