BUFFALO, N.Y. (AP) - A western New York woman who served prison time for embezzling $120,000 in the 1990s has been sentenced for stealing more than $90,000 from two Buffalo companies where she worked.

Local media report that 60-year-old Marilee Leach of Cheektowaga was sentenced Monday in state Supreme Court to one to three years in prison. She pleaded guilty in November to stealing about $92,000 while working as a bookkeeper for two Buffalo companies starting in 2007.

Leach’s defense attorney says she has paid back all but $27,000 of the funds she stole from the companies.

Leach served a year in prison after being convicted in 1996 of stealing $120,000 from a Buffalo construction company.
