MOSS POINT, Miss. (AP) - Moss Point Police Chief Keith Davis says the results of an autopsy on seventh-grade student will not be ready for release this week.

Davis said Monday the results would not be available for at least two weeks.

Twelve-year-old Lorel Malone was involved in a fight Thursday at Magnolia Middle School and died the following morning at the University of South Alabama Women’s & Children’s Hospital in Mobile.

The Sun Herald reports (https://bit.ly/1gmB6j7 ) Unity Funeral Home in Moss Point is working with the family to arrange the services, which will be Saturday.

Last week, a school district spokesman said the fight was with another seventh-grader, but the district has not named the student.

Youth court is investigating the incident. Davis said details are not available because the case involves juveniles.
