PANAMA CITY BEACH, Fla. (AP) - A teenager from Tennessee faces DUI manslaughter charges following a crash that killed a fellow spring breaker in Panama City Beach.

Authorities say the crash happened Sunday night when a car driven by 18-year-old Bruce George of Nolensville, Tenn., drove head-on into a scoot car driven by 22-year-old Brandon Beverly of Knoxville, Tenn.

The News Herald of Panama City Beach (https://bit.ly/1fRxR8j ) reports Beverly was ejected from the car. He was taken to a hospital where he later died.

A judge on Monday set George’s bail at $100,000 and police say additional charges could be added. Panama City Beach police say George’s blood alcohol content was 0.159. That’s nearly twice the limit at which a driver is considered impaired in Florida.

Detectives are continuing to investigate the crash.
