ROCKVILLE, Md. (AP) - Police say they have three bank robbery suspects in custody after a police chase that temporarily closed Interstate 270.

Montgomery County Police say they received a call at just after 10 a.m. Tuesday for a report of a bank robbery on King Farm Boulevard in Rockville. Police say two suspects robbed the bank while the third drove the getaway vehicle, a silver Kia SUV. A police helicopter spotted the vehicle on southbound I-270, and police took the suspects into custody near I-270 southbound and Tuckerman Lane.

Police say they also recovered money from the robbery, which the suspects had thrown into a dump truck next to the vehicle after realizing police were pursuing them. Police did not release the names of anyone who had been arrested.
