ATLANTA (AP) - Atlanta police are investigating gunfire that killed one man and wounded another person at an apartment complex.
CBS Atlanta reports (https://bit.ly/1iwlIYr) that the shooting happened around 12:35 a.m. Tuesday at the Etheridge Court apartments on Center Street Northwest.
Police say both victims are believed to be in their 20s. One was found in a car with two gunshot wounds to the back of the head. He died of his wounds.
The second person was also in the car, but escaped. Witnesses told police that person ran to Atlanta Fire Rescue station No. 38 for medical attention. That person had a bullet wound to the arm and was taken to Grady Medical Center.
Few other details were immediately available early Tuesday.
