1 killed in brush fire in West Virginia

CLENDENIN, W.Va. (AP) - Authorities say one person is dead after a brush fire spread in Clendenin.

Deputy Kanawha County Emergency Services Director C.W. Sigman told the Charleston Gazette reports (https://bit.ly/1oJUYBe) that the Tuesday fire began as a brush fire and then spread to a barn.

The identity of the deceased was not known but Sigman said it was not a firefighter.
