ASBURY PARK, N.J. (AP) - Authorities say a man ejected from a central New Jersey bar following a dispute with another patron later stabbed the patron multiple times as he left the bar.

Asbury Park police say 29-year-old city resident Manuel Tirado-Silva was charged with aggravated assault and weapons offenses. His bail was set at $110,000 and it was not known if he has retained an attorney.

The Asbury Park Press (https://on.app.com/1cPhL9s) reports the stabbing occurred around 2 a.m. Monday.

The victim, a 29-year-old Red Bank man, had just stepped outside the bar when he was stabbed in his face and body. He was being treated at a hospital for wounds that were not considered life-threatening.
