Despite growing national figures, Kentuckians aren’t using public transit as much as they did last year, according to new ridership numbers.

What follows is a look at ridership reported by transit agencies in Kentucky.

Urban area; Agency; Decrease in unlinked passenger trips 2012 to 2013; Percent decrease



Bowling Green; Community Action of Southern Kentucky; 10,700; 8.6 percent

Fort Wright; Transit Authority of Northern Kentucky; 69,800; 1.8 percent

Louisville; Transit Authority of River City; 196,600; 1.3 percent
