SAVANNAH, Ga. (AP) - Authorities say multiple cars were involved in a crash on Interstate 16 that backed up rush-hour traffic heading into Savannah.

WTOC-TV reports (https://bit.ly/1cOA7HE ) two people suffered minor injuries in the crash Monday morning. I happened at about 8:30 a.m. on eastbound I-16 as commuters headed to work in Savannah.

No details of what caused the crash were immediately available. Investigators were on the scene as crews worked to clear the roadway.
