Missing boy found, mother arrested

OWATONNA, Minn. (AP) - A missing 5-year-old boy has been found safe in Owatonna and his mother has been arrested.

The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension issued a crime alert Saturday night after the non-custodial mother fled with the Belle Plaine boy. Police say they found the two in Owatonna Sunday afternoon.

The St. Paul Pioneer Press (https://bit.ly/1dHExUj ) says arrangements are being made to return the child to his father. The 29-year-old mother from Montgomery was taken into custody.
