BOSTON (AP) - The price of a gallon of gas in Massachusetts has climbed another 4 cents in the past week, and is now up 16 cents in the past month.

AAA Southern New England said in its weekly survey released Monday that self-serve, regular is up to an average of $3.52 per gallon, which is 3 cents higher than the national average.

Despite the recent price spikes, prices are still 17 cents per gallon lower than at the same time a year ago.



AAA found self-serve, regular selling for as low as $3.41 per gallon and as high as $3.69.
