SANFORD, N.C. (AP) - A Sanford man has been arrested and charged with murder in the death of a man who was found at an apartment complex.
Thirty-year-old Lynard Jerome McCormick was arrested Sunday afternoon.
Twenty-eight-year-old Williams Amail Howard of Sanford was found dead Sunday morning from an apparent puncture wound to the neck.
Police say Howard died at the scene. Police have not released a motive in the death.
It was not clear if McCormick has an attorney.
