TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) - Authorities say a man already in custody is accused in a fatal shooting in Tucson last year.
Tucson police say 33-year-old Micah J. Waggoner is being held on suspicion of first-degree murder and being a prohibited possessor of a firearm.
Police say Waggoner already was booked in the Pima County jail on unrelated charges when he was arrested March 8 for his alleged role in the shooting death of Marlon Patterson.
The 42-year-old Patterson was found lying in the driveway of a home last Oct. 29.
Waggoner was jailed on March 6 on suspicion of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon/dangerous instrument, dangerous drug possession/use, misconduct involving weapons and failure to appear.
Police didn’t immediately know Monday afternoon if Waggoner has a lawyer yet.
