JACKSON, Wyo. (AP) - The avalanche danger in northwestern Wyoming is considerable following a weekend in which three people were caught in three different slides. All survived.

On Sunday, rescuers were able to extract a man from an avalanche in Granite Canyon in Grand Teton National Park.

On Saturday, the Jackson Hole Daily (https://bit.ly/1i4lWmZ ) reports that a snowboarder was swept over a cliff face just outside Jackson Hole Mountain Resort and buried with his head 3 feet below the surface. Another snowboarder was also buried briefly on Brecchia Peak near Togwotee Mountain Lodge. That slide was reportedly triggered by a snow machine.
