2 shootings reported in Grenada

GRENADA, Miss. (AP) - Police are searching for suspects in two apparently unrelated shootings on Sunday night.

Officers tell WTVA-TV (https://bit.ly/1oG8aaj ) 21-year-old Fredrick Collins was found wounded at his West Govan Street home at around 10:15.

He’d been shot multiple times.

Collins was taken to an Oxford hospital, then transferred to Memphis for treatment. Officers say he was unable to provide information at the scene about the shooting.

In what appears to be an unrelated shooting, police say someone fired bullets into a vehicle in the Sundown subdivision.

No injuries were reported.
