SOMERVILLE, Ala. (AP) - Two children in north Alabama have been rushed to a local hospital after they were found face-down in a pool.

Morgan County Sheriff Ana Franklin tells WAAY-TV (https://bit.ly/1fl3npt ) a baby-sitter called 911 when the children, ages 2 and 3, were found in the family’s pool in Somerville on Monday afternoon.

Neither child was responsive when they were pulled from the water and their conditions are unknown. It’s unclear how the children got out of the house and into the pool.
