MACON, Ga. (AP) - Police in Macon are investigating the city’s third slaying in the past seven days.

In the latest killing, a 21-year-old Macon man was shot to death late Friday on the city’s south side.

Bibb County Coroner Leon Jones said Cedric Patrick Jr. was pronounced dead at The Medical Center of Central Georgia shortly before 11 p.m. Friday. He had been found on Eisenhower Parkway, with a gunshot wound to the back.



The Telegraph reports (https://bit.ly/1kC9M4l) that two people — a 16-year-old boy and a 37-year-old woman — were shot to death in separate incidents on Feb. 22.
