JACKSON, Miss. (AP) - The Mississippi Board of Education denied more than 30 school districts permission by to shorten the school year after they missed days because of winter weather in January and February. Here’s a list of those districts, as well as how many full days of school each missed. Some may also have to make up half-days if the number of hours in school fell below five for a day when school started late or was dismissed early:
