APOPKA, Fla. (AP) - Two Orlando area teens are dead after being struck by a passing car while trying to push their broken vehicle Friday night.
The Apopka Police Department says a man driving a sport utility vehicle struck the group of four teenagers. One teenager was able to get out of the way, another was steering the disabled car and two were struck and killed.
Officials say the car was being pushed off the road but was still in the way of traffic when the crash happened.
An investigation is ongoing.
