Champagne delivery drones are now operating in California for the super rich.
Price tag: $10,000.
Customers at the hotel and spa Casa Madrona in Sausalito have the option of staying in a $10,000-per-night room, which includes champagne drone delivery as part of the package.
“I think we’re going to set ourselves apart,” hotel manager Sieste Nabben told a local station.
Some of the perks for customers who purchase the hotel’s megaluxury Alexandrite Suite include an outdoor Jacuzzi with a view of the bay, a whirlpool bathtub, a private gym, a private office and a giant video wall for watching television and movies. A view of Alcatraz Island is also in the distance.
“We’ve seen a humongous interest in this suite — not only for this year but actually all the way through the summer of 2015,” Mr. Nabben told the station. “There’s been some high demand.”
