WAYNE, N.J. (AP) - One driver was killed and another was injured when two vehicles collided on a northern New Jersey roadway.

Wayne police tell The Record (https://bit.ly/1oKRymp) that 61-year-old township resident Rona Kling was killed in the collision, which occurred in the area of Ratzer Road and Oakwood Drive.

Kling was making a left turn when her car and a pickup truck driven by another Wayne resident, 55-year-old William Spirig, collided shortly before 10 a.m. Sunday.



Kling was unconscious when she was taken to a hospital, where she was pronounced dead a short time later. Spirig was treated at the hospital for undisclosed minor injuries and was later released.

The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
