JUDSONIA, Ark. (AP) - White County authorities say a Judsonia man is in custody in connection with the death of a Searcy man.
Chief Deputy Phillip Miller told reporters that deputies were called Friday afternoon to a home in Judsonia where a person had reportedly been shot. Miller says the suspect had left the home by the time deputies arrived and that the victim could not be found.
Miller says the suspect contacted and met with detectives on Saturday and led them to an area near Bald Knob where they found the body of 48-year-old Todd Landreth.
Miller says Landreth’s body was sent to the state medical examiner to determine the cause of death.
