HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (AP) - Huntsville police say a cab driver was robbed at knifepoint.

WAFF-TV reports (https://bit.ly/1kxzmVE ) that the driver picked up two men near Springtime Boulevard and drove them to Meadowbrook Drive around 3 a.m. Sunday. The driver told police the men had a knife and took cash from him before fleeing the area on foot.

Police say one of the men cut the cab driver with the knife during the robbery. A passerby saw the cab driver around 6:30 a.m. and called police.



Officers took the cab driver to a hospital to be treated for minor cuts to his neck and arm.

The investigation is ongoing and no suspects were in custody.
